Bliss Camp FAQ’s

Pet friendly? Well-behaved, quiet dogs are welcome. Must be friendly with other dogs and people. Strictly not allowed on bedding. No aggressive pets. Be honest with yourself, do others think they are well-behaved? Must be leashed unless approved by Dot and Byron. Pick up after pets promptly.


Pet fee?  There is a $40 pet fee, refundable if there is no pet hair on bedding and no extra cleaning required.


Family friendly?  Great for respectful children of all ages. Must be accompanied by adult when near stream and ponds!


Showers?  Hot, outdoor enclosed showers and towels provided at each camp. (Not for RV site)


Toilets?  Clean porta potties at each camp and RV site.


Campfires permitted?  Gas fire pits are provided. (Not for RV site) No open flames of any kind on property.


WIFI?  Wifi signal is provided. You may need to step a few feet into good reception.


Cell service?  Cell service is available through Wifi. No direct cell service.


Bedding and linens included?  All linens and bedding are included.


Kitchen supplies?  Gas range, gas BBQ, extensive kitchenware--plates, utensils, pots & pans, drinkware, etc.—just bring your food.


Drinking water?  Jugs of purified well water at camps. (Not for RV site.)


Type of accommodations?  Tent Cabins and Vardo Wagons


Minimum stay?  Two nights minimum. Three nights on Holiday weekends


Location?  Between Lyons and Allenspark, Colorado


No Tobacco?  No smoking tobacco on property at any time.


Need 4 wd?  Paved highway comes to property. All driveways are 2 WD navigable.


What should I bring?  Good attitude, food, cooler, adventure gear, warm clothing, soap, shampoo.


How far is Rocky Mountain National Park?  15 minutes to Wild Basin entrance. 30 minutes to Beaver Meadows entrance.


Brainard Lake / Indian Peaks Wilderness?  30 minutes to Brainard Lake; 15 minutes to closest IPW access.
